Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee on-site construction and engineering project installations at multiple industrial sites. The ideal candidate will monitor and manage day-to-day construction activity, ensuring quality, safety, schedule adherence, and compliance with project specifications. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as on-site Construction Project Manager across multiple industrial sites, focusing on oversight rather than engineering tasks. • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) oversight, including inspections and documentation reviews. • Conduct regular site walkthroughs, monitor work progress, verify installation standards, and confirm compliance with project documentation. • Maintain and manage quality documentation including submittal logs, inspection reports, “as-built” notes, and close-out packages. • Interface with construction teams, subcontractor superintendents, and project stakeholders to resolve quality and schedule issues promptly. • Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements throughout installation phases. • Provide daily and weekly project status updates—including quality, schedule, and risk insights—to management. Qualifications: • Experience: 5+ years of on-site construction project management or QA/QC oversight in heavy industrial or power plant environments. Ideally with industrial installation exposure. • Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction quality control standards, submittals, documentation, and corrective action processes. Skills: • Excellent site inspection and observational capabilities. • Proficiency with QA/QC documentation, inspection logs, and corrective reporting. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of independent decision-making. Certifications Preferred: • QA/QC, USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors, CCM, PMP, OSHA training, or equivalent. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience in construction oversight.
