Volt is immediately hiring for a Staff Accountant for a local leading Manufacturing Company in Long Beach, CA. As a Staff Accountant, you will: Review, code, and process accounts payable and accruals Process A/P checks and initiate wire transfers Post daily cash transactions and assist with bank reconciliations Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on past-due accounts Maintain sub-ledgers for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accruals Review credit applications and maintain vendor/customer master files Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and journal entries Reconcile general ledger accounts and support audits Process employee reimbursements and company credit card expenses Prepare sales tax and property tax filings Participate in special accounting projects This is a full-time opportunity, Monday–Friday. The ideal candidate will have: 3+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of AP/AR, general ledger, and month-end close Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm (On-site) Pay Rate: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
