Security Guard Job at World Equestrian Center in Wilmington

Overview

Join to apply for the Security Guard role at World Equestrian Center located in Wilmington, Ohio. A $350 sign-on bonus is offered ($175 after 30 days and $175 after 90 days) based on attendance and performance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision plans and a 401(k) with match after 90 days. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is strongly preferred; prior equine experience is helpful. REQUIRES WEEKEND AVAILABILITY.

Shift: 3rd Shift - 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Full-time status or other details are determined by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established security operating procedures (SOP) and help maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Work independently or as part of a team; demonstrate strong customer relations skills.
• Be trained, comprehend and operate the latest Video Management and Access Control programs (computer competency required).
• Accurately communicate pertinent information to staff, security personnel and management.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and pleasant interactions with guests.
• Possess a valid driver\'s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record (to operate company vehicles).
• Be capable of conducting extended foot patrols.
• Assist property outlets with cash control activities including deposits and change orders.
• Prepare reports on daily shift activity and report incidents and maintenance matters.
• Handle emergency response in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Satisfactory driving record (required to operate company-owned vehicle).
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail.
• CCTV and access control experience.
• Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred.
