Learn It Academic Services is looking for a Certified Teacher to work in our K-12th grade classrooms. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, interdisciplinary team of professionals focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children. Potential positions could include the specialized areas of art, music, physical education, health, family & consumer sciences, and technology education. Other sought-after positions include certified special educators, ESL teachers, and reading and math specialists or interventionists. The team works with The School District of Philadelphia to deliver high-quality education services to its Non-Public partners, remotely and/or in person.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school administrators, classroom teachers, and parents; plan and deliver effective instruction and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain effective classroom management and provide a safe and positive learning environment.
• Attend staff meetings and complete required administrative tasks in a timely fashion.
• Work as part of an educational team consisting of a supervisor and fellow educators, delivering instruction to a diverse population of students virtually and/or in person.
• Teach for Non-Public schools throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area; positions may require Monday–Friday scheduling, during and/or after school hours.

Qualifications

• Valid State of Pennsylvania Primary or Secondary teaching certificate required.
• Classroom teaching experience required.
• Familiarity with various educational technology platforms preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds and be able to navigate a school environment with stairs during in-person sessions.
• Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head during in-person sessions.
• Reliable transportation, internet, and a working personal computer with updated software and a web camera.
• Hand dexterity for typing and data entry; experience using Microsoft Office, Google Suites, Zoom/Meets, and other Ed Tech platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility preferred; self-starter who can complete basic tasks with minimal supervision.
