TieTalent is hiring: Delivery Driver in Three Forks

Overview

Delivery Driver role at TieTalent (Staples Supply Chain) on a Monday–Friday schedule. You will transport products safely and deliver office supplies to customers on your assigned route. You may load your truck when volume requires. Safety is our utmost priority and you will follow safe work practices and foster our safety culture.

What you’ll be doing

You will organize and load product for delivery using the manifest to ensure the most efficient route and schedule. You will be a problem solver for our customers; providing customer support, accepting product returns and empowering to make customers’ day. You are the brand on wheels and essential to the success of Staples Supply Chain as we deliver to our customers.

What you bring to the table

• Safe and courteous driver who can navigate a map in various weather and road conditions.
• Ability to make sound decisions related to driving, parking, safety, and customer interactions.
• Inclusive approach with colleagues and customers to foster collaboration and resolve issues.
• Ability to use technology including GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) devices.
• Ability and willingness to maintain vehicle cleanliness including pre-trip inspections and reporting maintenance concerns.

What’s needed — Basic Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history acceptable to the company; eligible to drive a commercial motor vehicle under applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC) to the extent legally permissible.
• Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Full-Time associates must be able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required based on business need.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, push/pull items weighing up to 400 lbs with assistance of hand carts or equipment; occasionally maneuver up to 130 lbs.
• Must wear safety footwear.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

What’s needed — Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of truck driving experience (operating a 16 ft or longer straight truck) or equivalent driving experience.
• High volume package delivery experience.
