Responsibilities
- Help people grow, learn, and live well; develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
- Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
- Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
- Provide care for individuals with a variety of needs, including autism and related conditions; assist with personal hygiene and support for those with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
- Collaborate with supervisors who care about participant wellbeing in clinic and group home settings.
- Contribute to a stable, supportive work environment with day and overnight roles available in various assisted living environments, including nursing home facilities.
What You’ll Bring
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred).
- Skills: Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP) roles; related titles such as STNA, Resident Assistant, Home Health Aide, etc.
- Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
- Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance in some positions.
