Smith Graphics & Design, Inc. is an area leader in marketing and design. We specialize in digital printing, flatbed printing, vehicle wraps, and overall design and identity for our customers. We are currently looking for a talented and detail-oriented graphic designer to lead others. Responsibilities

• Create print or digital media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and other various techniques.
• Set up files for print for Digital Print, Printing Press, and Large Format Printers, INCLUDING CUT CONTOURS.
• Remain up to date on changing trends in the graphic design industry.
• Actively communicate with clients and staff in a timely manner to understand and deliver design material to their satisfaction.
• Plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
• Prepare finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Coordinate with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Communicate with clients about layout and design.
• Create a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements when necessary.

Requirements

Experience: 4-6 years of graphic design experience with designing vehicle wraps, decals, logos, signs of all different signs and shapes, and file setup for large format digital printers and cutters.

Software: Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator) is required.

Education

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

• Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 40 per week

• Schedule: 10 hour shift; 8 hour shift
