Crystal Springs is looking for a dedicated and experienced Human Resources professional who is energetic and passionate about working in a dynamic team based environment. If you thrive in a busy fast paced office environment, we want to hear from you!

Your Role

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely as a team player on a wide variety of projects with a main focus on employee relations and compliance related projects.

  • Responsible for handling all employee relations counseling across the campus, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
  • This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.
  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems process improvements.
  • Maintain records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations, BRC regulations and other agency funded programs.
  • Assist with new-employee orientations.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from a variety of databases.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Performs other related work as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or in a related field is required.
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
  • Five to seven years Human Resources Generalist experience is desired; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office; preferred experience and expertise in ADP Workforce Now and EE Navigator.
  • Strong teamwork and ability to work in a fast paced environment is a must.
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant state and federal laws and regulations is essential.
