What’s a typical day as a Human Resources Specialist?

• Delivering high-touch HR support through phone, email, and case management.
• Assisting employees and managers with payroll, benefits, and HR transactions in WorkDay.
• Processing employee data including new hires, terminations, promotions, and benefit enrollments.
• Administering employee benefit plans such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability programs.
• Identifying process improvements to enhance overall HR service delivery.
• Collaborating with HR teams to resolve issues and escalate cases when needed.
• Coaching employees on the use of self-service HR tools.

What you have

• A high school diploma with experience in HR-related work (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 0–3 years of HR, payroll, or benefits experience.
• Strong communication skills with professionalism and empathy.
• Experience with HRIS systems (WorkDay, PeopleSoft, or equivalent).
• Ability to handle confidential employee data with accuracy and discretion.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Preferred: customer service/call center experience or HR Shared Service experience.
• Bonus: Spanish speaking skills.
