Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant:
At least 1 year of dental assisting experience required; 2 years preferred
Help with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
Take impressions and bite registrations
Record and maintain photos, CBCT, and intraoral scanning files
Educate parents and patients on the treatment progress
Preparing patients for dental procedures
Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies
Recording treatment information in patient records
Schedule of the Orthodontic Dental Assistant:
Monday: 9:00AM - 7:00PM (Family Dental Care)
Tuesday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM (Smiles on Randolph)
Wednesday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Family Dental Care)
Thursday: 9:00AM - 7:00PM (Smiles on Randolph)
Friday: 9:00AM - 3:00PM (Rotates)
Saturday: 9:00AM - 3:00PM (Every other Saturday)
