Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with at least five years of operating room circulating experience and call rotation availability.Job Details•Position based in an 8-bed hospital operating room unit,•Required to circulate for specialties including General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho (including total joints), Neuro head and spine, and Trauma,•Preferred experience in C-sections, ENT, Plastics, DaVinci Robot, and scrubbing,•Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week,•Weekend and holiday coverage by rotation as needed,•On-call required by rotation,•Facility provides scrubs,•Strong preference for candidates with Meditech Expanse EMR experience,Job Requirements•Active RN license for Massachusetts in hand at time of application,•Current AHA BLS certification required,•At least five years of recent operating room experience required,•Minimum of three months previous travel nursing experience required, with one year preferred,•Comfortable precepting new team members,•General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho (including total joints), Neuro head and spine, and Trauma OR experience required,•C-section, ENT, Plastics, DaVinci Robot, and scrub experience preferred,•Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred,•Candidate must have access to their own vehicle,•Two recent supervisory signed references within the past two years required for consideration,Additional Information•Willingness and ability to take on-call responsibilities is required,•Expect to precept and mentor other team members as needed,•Holiday coverage is required as needed per unit schedule,•Dress code is facility-provided scrubs,•No more than 5 days of requested time off will be approved during assignment,•Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for consideration,•Candidates must note all time off requests prior to upload; no additional RTO will be approved after submission
