This role is ideal for healthcare professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess a strong background in neuro-critical care or intensive care units (ICU). The successful applicant must be adept in patient management and committed to delivering high-quality care. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care for individuals on Neuro-Progressive and Stepdown units.- Deliver competent nursing care and ensure patient safety.- Utilize Epic for electronic medical recordkeeping.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.- Participate in patient assessments, monitoring, and planning care protocols.- Complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam as part of the onboarding process. Requirements: - Must have Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience.- Epic experience is required.- Must wear navy blue scrubs.- Local candidates must be from eligible counties as of 1/11/2024. Qualifications: - Active nursing license (pending state license considered).- Minimum of (X years) experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU settings.- Ability to float to other units if necessary.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
