Trillium Construction is seeking a Crane Operator / Laborer for a project in Minnesota City, MN who will operate: Telescopic Boom Cranes- Swing Cab (TLL). Key Responsibilities - Operate barge-mounted and land-based cranes for lifting, setting, and material handling - Pilot and maintain workboats or small tugs for barge movement and transport - Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, and forklifts - Assist with: o Scaffolding and access systems o Abrasive blasting and surface prep o Industrial painting and coating applications o Rigging and general labor o Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on all equipment and rigging o Uphold job site safety, environmental, and quality standards Other Key Responsibilities - Grinding/Torching/Cutting/ Steel - Rivet Busting- Removing and Replacing Rivets - Erecting/Dismantling Containment- Tarps/Scaffolding - Installing/Removing Supports for Roller Gate - Muck Debris Removal- Cleaning interior of Roller Gate such as mud/silt from river - Abrasive Blasting- Removing existing coatings - Coating Applications- roll and brush when stripe coat is applied - Removal and installation of gate seals - Vacuuming- After abrasive blasting is done, several 4" vacuum lines are placed into containment to retrieve all spent abrasive to be disposed of. This consists of kneeling/bending to hold and move hose throughout the containment. - Marine Work- Operating or assisting with boat to and from barge with equipment or waste. - When working in containment at times a full face/half face respirator will be required. When required to wear a respirator, employee must be clean shaved. Pay rate is $61.69 total per hour; Base - $43.97 and Fringe - $ 17.72. Per Diem: $100 / day for all 7 days. Schedule is Mon - Sat, 60h / week. Apply now! Qualifications -NCCCO Crane Operator Certification - Telescopic Boom Cranes- Swing Cab (TLL) -2+ years of crane operator experience -Pre-employment screenings -Experience in marine or river work preferred -Boat handling experience is a plus (willing to train) -Welding experience is a plus -Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus) -Ability to travel and work outdoors in varying conditions -Ability to pass Workwell medical test and meet minimum required lifting requirements -Experience using fall protection #travelers Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
