This position offers the chance to work within a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Tertiary Care Regional Referral Hospital. The Cardiac Cath Lab is known for its advanced patient care and specializes in cardiac procedures. Unit Profile: - Facility Department/Cost Center: Cardiac Cath Lab- Specialty: Cardiac- Number of Openings: 1 RN and 1 Tech- Shift Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts during the week- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40- Weekend Hours: Varied on-call hours, covering 24/7; typically 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month (minimum based on department needs) Patient Population: - Primarily Adult and Geriatric patients. Required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS)- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Experience Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab is preferred. Common Diagnosis/Treatment: - STEMI, NSTEMI, CAD, Cardiogenic Shock, Complete Heart Block Working Environment: - Number of Beds: 16- Patient Ratios: 1:1- Equipment Utilized: IABP, Impella, Rota Blader, Shock Wave, Laser- Electronic Health Record (EHR): EPIC Education Requirement: - Diploma in Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing. Dress Code: - Scrubs will be provided by the hospital. Fingerprinting and Clearance: Candidates must complete the following clearances before starting:1. Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance2. Department of Human Services Fingerprinting3. FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting (if fingerprints are not completed in the last two years)4.
