Overview
PTR Global is seeking a skilled Network/Data Engineer to join our team on a 3-year contract basis. The ideal candidate will work on project-based assignments in a collaborative team environment and will have expertise in network configuration, troubleshooting, and cloud computing technologies. This role is located in Warrenville, Illinois (contract position).
Responsibilities
- Participate in project-based work within a team environment.
- Configure new builds using JunOS, IOS, IOS-XR, and Arista EOS.
- Utilize cloud computing and whitebox technologies.
- Perform Ethernet and Layer 1 troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Cisco CCNA and/or Juniper JNCIA certification.
- Proven experience in network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of JunOS, IOS, IOS-XR, and Arista EOS.
- Experience with cloud computing and whitebox technologies.

Compensation and Employment Details
- Pay Range: $50 - $60
- The compensation for this position will be determined by the scope, location, market labor costs, and candidate qualifications. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K contributions as well as PTO and other benefits mandated by applicable state or localities where you reside or work.
