Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician to join our thriving Cancer and Infusion Center in beautiful Mendocino County, CA. New graduates are welcome to apply! This is a rare opportunity to work near the redwoods and Northern California Coastline just north of San Francisco in Ukiah, CA, with an outstanding team, which currently includes several advanced practice providers and a Hematologist/Oncologist Physician. Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is a teaching hospital with a Full Spectrum Rural Family Medicine residency program (ahfamilyresidency.org). Medical staff are invited and expected to support resident training through Didactics and Applied Clinical Practice.
Responsibilities and Benefits:
- Typical outpatient oncology and hematology setting.
- Competitive compensation with guaranteed salary for 2 years, plus RVU-based reimbursement and benefits package.
- Annual metric bonus.
- Recent expansion will include 15 infusion chairs.
- Shared call, with a light call burden.
- Hospital-based outpatient clinic next to the hospital; inpatient consults 1-2 per week; no inpatient chemotherapy.
- 5 weeks PTO, generous CME reimbursement.
- In-house tumor board (breast, general) and inter-hospital virtual tumor board.
- Dedicated breast cancer navigator, RN coordinator, financial counselor, specialty pharmacy personnel, social worker.
- Advanced hospital services including MRI, PET, radiation oncology, GI with EUS/ERCP, pulmonology with bronchoscopy.
Wage Scale: $430,804 - $548,908
