Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Travel: CT Technologist Location: Saginaw, MI Start Date: 9/8/2025 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift Details: Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12 hrs) Hours/Week: 36-hour guarantee Weekend Requirements: Required On Call: None Position Overview: The CT Technologist assists radiologists and other physicians in obtaining high-quality computerized tomographic and radiographic images for diagnosis and treatment while minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff. The technologist also provides general patient care during procedures. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 35% : Perform CT studies following established protocols; differentiate normal and abnormal anatomy and tailor exams based on patient history, protocol, and radiologist instructions. 30% : Administer IV and oral contrast as required, monitor patient condition, and record all pertinent data according to departmental protocol and institutional guidelines. 20% : Ensure radiation protection for patients, self, and others using gonadal shielding and collimation; document scheduling acknowledgment. 15% : Perform nursing duties including sterile procedures assistance, vital signs, obtaining clinical history, venipuncture, and recognition of allergic reactions or urgent conditions, notifying and assisting the radiologist as needed.
