Patient Support - Florida Cancer Specialists

The Patient Support Volunteer provides non-medical needs of adult patients in the treatment area. Volunteers will provide comfort and companionship, a listening ear, a smile, light refreshments, blanket and pillows, and assistance to the nursing staff. This position is based out of an FCS clinic and shifts are based on the availability of the clinic. Time commitment is at least 3-hours per week for 6-months. Due to the vulnerability of the client population, masks are required. Volunteers are needed for the following shifts: Lake Wales

Tuesday 10am to 2pm Friday 9am to 1pm

Davenport

Monday 10am to 2pm Wednesday 10am to 2pm Thursday 10am to 2pm
