We are an established, family-owned hospitality group known for hosting elegant weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events at our scenic Hudson Valley venues. We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated Chef or Cook to join our kitchen team as we continue to grow and expand our event offerings. Up to 10 years of experience in banquet kitchens, catering, or high-volume restaurant environments

About the Role: This is a hands-on kitchen position supporting the execution of high-volume plated meals, buffet service, and custom catering menus. The ideal candidate has experience in banquet-style production and is passionate about delivering quality food at scale with consistency and efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare and execute menu items for weddings and private events (plated, buffet, and cocktail style)

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization in accordance with health and safety standards

Work closely with the culinary team to support prep, setup, and service for events

Assist in receiving deliveries, food storage, and inventory management

Uphold food presentation and timing standards during live service

Ideal Candidate:

Experience in banquet kitchens, catering, or high-volume restaurant environments

Strong sense of teamwork and professionalism

Comfortable working weekends, evenings, and holidays as events require

Culinary training a plus but not required—attitude and ability matter most
