Stewart's Shops is looking for an experienced electrical technician for our production facility. The ideal candidate has the skills to install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
Duties: • Identify issues, develop plans, and execute solutions in a fast-paced production environment. • Maintain and repair both mechanical and electrical aspects on various types of production, facility, and utility equipment. • Install new electrical systems, including conduit runs, wiring, and panel terminations. • Perform service connections and integrate new equipment into existing plant infrastructure • Understand AC/DC motors and VFD motor controls. • Understand electro and mechanical components. • Work with digital and analog control devices. • Read and interpret electrical drawings to plan and execute new installations. • Handling of conveyors, photo eyes, and limit switches.
Requirements: • 4+ years in electrical technician role. • Favored skills: HVAC, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and access controls. • Ability to work independently or assisting others. • Safety conscious, able to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to comply with repetitive lifting and spending consecutive hours on your feet. • Ability to operate power equipment and tools.
Schedule: • Schedule is typically Monday-Friday 7am-330pm, includes some nights & weekends • Pay range is $26-30/hour. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
