We offer an entire world of identity solutions for governments, businesses, and clients at all levels.Position Summary:Our team is looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment and systems related to card personalization. Our facility is located in Bolingbrook, IL. The position is on our 1st shift working Monday through Friday from 7:30am-5:00pm. Job Responsibilities & Duties:Perform comprehensive troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of production equipment.Execute preventive and predictive maintenance of all production equipment.Set up equipment in coordination with the production shift supervisor, aligning with the production schedule.Communicate with external support technicians for guidance and support through email or phone.Ensure compliance with safety and employee conduct rules, promoting a clean and hazard-free workspace.Maintain adequate spare parts inventory levels and order replacements when necessary.Create purchase orders for supplies.Maintain documentation of vendors, part numbers, contacts, pricing etc.Maintain documentation of best practices and repeatable maintenance directions.Foster continuous improvement concepts within the team.Assist in any reorganization or relocation of machines, shelving units, desks, etc.Ensure all maintenance work complies with ISO standards. Qualifications & Experience:Technical degree from an accredited institution or related industry experienceProficiency in PLC, AC/DC, Pneumatics and Hydraulics.Previous 2-4 years of vocational and/or maintenance technician experience.Experience in the ID card industry is considered a huge plus.Experience with Entrust MX6100, MX8100, MxD-Mxi or similar systems is a plus.Independent, proactive working style, adept at managing multiple projects in a high-demand environment.Comfortable with precision hand movements when operating machinery.High hardware and software troubleshooting skills.Experience operating hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers.Ability to handle hazardous materials safely.Must pass a drug test and criminal background check.Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to improve performance.Basic knowledge of collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack.Strong knowledge on Microsoft software such as Outlook, Excel, Word.
