Marrick Medical is hiring: Data Product Manager & Analyst in Greenwood Village
Marrick Medical, Greenwood Village, CO, US
Job Description
Who We're Seeking
If you’re a generalist who loves creatively solving dynamic problems, is skilled at working closely with a wide breadth of stakeholders and is ready to leverage your expertise and agency to create structure from ambiguity and visibly impact a growing culture around data — this role is for you.
NOTE: Eligible candidates MUST reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin.
You will work on a lean, collaborative team of two where everyone wears multiple hats. We’re looking for a hands-on Data Product Manager & Analyst* who thrives in ambiguity, adapts quickly, and is excited to work across disciplines. This isn’t a rigid role. One day you might be fielding questions from users on metric definitions, the next you’ll be demoing new tools and writing release notes, designing a new dashboard, or turning executive requests into actionable engineering plans.
About the Role
As our Data Product Manager & Analyst, you’ll play a dynamic, hands-on role at the intersection of product management and analytics. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a relatively new data function at Marrick — building the standards, practices, and culture that will define how the organization uses data going forward. You’ll translate business needs into actionable data products, manage requests across product development and ad hoc reporting, and build dashboards and reports that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. Your work will balance strategy, user engagement, and hands-on analytics, giving you the chance to shape the vision and standards for our analytics function.
In this role, you’ll serve as the primary bridge between business users and the technical team, proactively monitoring requests, identifying patterns, and ensuring tools are accurate, usable, and adopted widely. Because this is a lean and emerging team, you’ll be expected to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to both day-to-day analytics delivery and long-term strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Partner with business users to gather requirements, translate abstract needs into clear analytics tasks, and shape actionable analytics solutions that align with organizational priorities
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses using SQL, Amazon QuickSight (or similar BI tools), and engineered data models to deliver quality-assured, intuitive insights
- Manage and prioritize requests across product development and reporting pipelines in Jira, ensuring visibility, structure, and alignment with business needs
- Drive adoption of analytics products by creating demos, release notes, and user documentation, and providing ongoing support to increase confidence with data tools
- Ensure quality, usability, and documentation of analytics products while contributing to the long-term vision and strategy of the data function
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years in a Data Product Manager, Data Analyst, or similar analytical role; 1+ years of consistent, hands-on SQL experience
- Analytics Delivery: Proven experience building dashboards and reports with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Amazon QuickSight) and generating ad hoc analyses that drive timely business decision-making
- Technical Intuition: Ability to quickly understand complex data models and pipelines, translate abstract user requests into concrete requirements, and reason about system impacts
- Data Knowledge: Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, semantic models, and cloud-based analytics infrastructure
- Quality & Documentation: Demonstrated ability to perform thorough QA on data products and write clear, concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills with a proactive, transparent communication style
- Initiative & Strategy: Track record of taking ownership, contributing to team strategy, and driving process or product improvements in evolving environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Amazon QuickSight for dashboard/report development
- Familiarity with dbt (Data Build Tool) or similar data transformation and ELT orchestration tools
- Exposure to modern cloud-based data stacks (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, dbt)
- Experience in start-up environments or new and rapidly evolving analytics teams
- Interest in emerging technologies such as GenAI or external data enrichment tools
- Experience designing user education resources or leading platform adoption initiatives
