Controller/Accountant for a Multinational Company

A multinational company headquartered in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Controller/Accountant to serve as the primary accountant and oversee the company’s financial operations. This role will be based primarily in the office and will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, developing and monitoring internal controls, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with management to support the company’s strategic financial objectives.

Qualifications/Skills:

1. Controller/Accountant with 5+ years of experience performing internal or external audits
2. Ability to learn Oracle based accounting systems (Data conversion)
3. Tech Savvy: Able to learn and understand computer networking and programming within the Oracle environment to help with Sales/Accounting; Inventory Control; and Purchasing.
4. Proven track record with project management, financial analysis, risk assessment.
5. Experience designing audit programs which address unique risks in key areas of operations.

Job Requirement:

• CPA license with a strong background in accounting and financial management (Preferred)

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles (controller experience preferred)

• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

• Proven ability to prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports

• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with experience overseeing accounting functions

• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and accounting policies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with management and staff

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all financial matters

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Will report directly to CEO
