Recovery Support Specialist

Location: Rochester, NY (Hybrid Schedule)

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Schedule:

• Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (6–8 weeks)
• Post-training: Monday–Wednesday in-office, Thursday–Friday remote, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, call center, or inbound support required
• Experience in finance, accounting, payroll, collections, or banking preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FDCPA and NACHA is a plus

Responsibilities

• Resolve returned banking items accurately and efficiently
• Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Educate clients and internal teams on resolution processes and service alternatives
• Research and resolve product and service issues to recover lost revenue
• Process new and pending returned items daily for assigned products
• Maintain daily call volume and processing requirements
• Ensure compliance with department policies and regulatory guidelines
• Evaluate client status to determine appropriate service usage and mitigate risk
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and skills
• Support daily reporting tasks including EDI payments and payroll holds

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
