Inventory Specialist II (Hybrid - Manchester, CT)

As an Inventory Specialist II at our Corporate Office in Manchester, CT, you will support inventory accuracy and process improvement efforts across Bob's Discount Furniture's retail and outlet locations. Through proactive analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and detailed reporting using SAP and Excel, you'll help maintain perpetual inventory systems and educate store personnel on inventory best practices. This role operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with occasional inter-state travel. Key Skills for Success To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate strengths in the following skill areas: Core Competencies & Expertise Inventory monitoring and reconciliation using SAP and Excel-based models Execution and troubleshooting of wall-to-wall inventory counts and cycle counts Inventory discrepancy resolution and product-level research Ability to lead inventory trainings and educate store personnel Strong communication (written, verbal, and listening) and collaboration skills Detailed knowledge of Bob's product assortment and article tracking Ability to independently perform data analysis and reporting Application of business process improvements and best practices Support for internal and external audits Preferred Competencies & Skills Proficiency in SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and related tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint) Strong mathematical aptitude and critical thinking Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and apply new technologies and procedures Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team Who We Are At Bob's, we have fun, we love what we do, and we're growing fast!
