Join our extraordinary team today! With the Farmer at the core, the Senior Director, Chief Information Security Officer is responsible for leading the global information security function. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that protects AGCO’s digital assets, global operations, and customer trust. You will partner closely with global Digital Technology (DT), legal, compliance, risk management, and business units to ensure alignment with AGCO’s digital transformation and growth objectives. The ideal candidate possesses in-depth expertise in cybersecurity governance, threat management, regulatory compliance, and crisis response within complex, global, and manufacturing-focused environments.
Your Impact
Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance
Mature and execute AGCO's global information security strategy aligned with enterprise risk management and business objectives.
Establish and enforce information security governance, frameworks, policies, and procedures across all business units and regions.
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board of Directors (BoD) on emerging cyber risks, threats, and mitigation strategies.
Risk Management & Compliance
Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of information security risks across the global enterprise.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, NIST, ISO 27001) and industry standards.
Partner with Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and business leaders to ensure proper risk management practices are embedded.
Security Operations
Oversee global security operations, including threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and digital forensics.
Continuously monitor and improve AGCO's security KPIs, risk dashboards, and incident metrics, leveraging threat intelligence, automation, and leading-edge tools.
Lead the development and execution of incident response plans, ensuring rapid response and recovery from security incidents.
Security Architecture
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Application Development teams to embed security into digital and IT initiatives.
Drive adoption of secure development lifecycle practices.
Leadership & Talent Development
Lead a high-performing global cybersecurity organization.
Foster a culture of security awareness and shared accountability across the business.
Provide guidance, training, and development to DT and business teams to strengthen security knowledge and capabilities.
Qualifications
Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of progressive experience in IT or cybersecurity roles.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership capacity.
Proven experience managing global cybersecurity programs within a manufacturing, technology or industrial technology environment.
