CEO/COO
to oversee firmwide operations, drive growth, and partner with leadership to achieve long-term strategic goals.
Position Overview The
CEO/COO
will provide executive-level leadership to ensure the firm’s continued success. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, financial management, talent development, and business strategy. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of law firm operational experience, strong business acumen, and a passion for building sustainable growth in a mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
Partner with the firm’s managing partners to develop and execute long-term strategic initiatives.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and profitability management.
Identify opportunities for growth in practice areas, markets, and service delivery.
Operational Management
Oversee daily operations, including HR, finance, IT, marketing, and case administration.
Establish systems and processes to improve efficiency, case management, and client experience.
Monitor KPIs to evaluate performance and operational effectiveness.
Talent & Culture
Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing attorneys and support staff.
Foster a collaborative, mission-driven workplace culture.
Implement training and professional development programs.
Business Development & Client Relations
Drive firmwide marketing and business development initiatives.
Build strategic partnerships with referral sources and industry contacts.
Uphold the firm’s commitment to client service excellence.
Qualifications
10+ years of senior leadership experience in a law firm or professional services organization.
Background in plaintiff-side litigation, employment law, or adjacent practice areas strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success managing firm operations, P&L, and strategic growth.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
JD preferred but not required; MBA or advanced business/leadership credentials a plus.
