Automotive/Diesel Mechanic

Baldwinsville Central School District is accepting applications for an Automotive Mechanic, preferably with diesel engine experience. Candidate should have experience in all aspects of engine repair including electrical, diagnostics, brake systems, emissions, and general troubleshooting. A clean valid NYS driver’s license and ability to obtain CDL for bus driver license. Knowledge of DOT regulations for school buses is preferred. Minimum qualifications include: a) Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology; or, b) two (2) years of work experience, or its part-time equivalent, in the repair and maintenance of automotive equipment, specifically diesel engines; or, c) completion of a two (2) year vocational education program majoring in Automotive Technology and one (1) year of work experience.
