The Cloud Full Stack Engineer designs, builds, operates and iterates on cloud native solutions that enable us to deliver end-to-end personalized experiences for our guests. The Cloud Full Stack Engineer is an expert at solving technical challenges and building solutions using the best available tools in an AWS cloud first environment. Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Design, Develop and Operate Full Stack Cloud Solutions and Services in an AWS Cloud Environment using a serverless and managed service first approach. Write Clean, Maintainable and Efficient code following best practices and standards. Develop and Manage databases and other data storage systems in support of the services being built. Define the application infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code approach using terraform. Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the development life cycle and focus on delivery of quality solutions. Mentor peer engineering team members on technical decision making, code reviews and enforcing engineering practices and standards. Lead technical discussions to share knowledge and build consensus amongst engineers to build the best solutions possible. Maintain application DevOps processes and deployment pipelines to implement and support application and feature releases. Assist in system migration to the cloud supporting refactoring legacy system to modernize the application or integration services to leverage cloud native services and solutions. 5+ years of experience architecting and developing full stack solutions and utilizing software build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Git, GitLab, CI/CD). 5+ years of application and backend API development experience (object-oriented, Java, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript). 5+ years of web application development experience (HTML, CSS, React, Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript). Strong understanding of cloud serverless solutions (AWS…S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge). Experience working with cloud database services (RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB). Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS/Fargate). Experience with cloud build and deployment tools (Serverless, AWS SAM, GitLab). Experience working with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and cloud deployment languages (Serverless, CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform). Base understanding of cloud services and infrastructure (VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, EFS, IAM, CW). Knowledge of event-driven and service-oriented architectures. Agile development and deployment experience (JIRA, CI/CD). Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems, or equivalent education. Candidates with strong experience in lieu of a formal degree are encouraged to apply. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Database Knowledge: Experience with AWS-native databases like DocumentDB, DynamoDB, and RDS. Containerization (Nice to Have): Some exposure to Docker; Kubernetes/EKS not required for this project. The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
