Senior Systems Engineer

Washington, DC . Responsibilities
Provide tailored systems engineering and acquisition support for the acquisition and life-cycle management of submarine and undersea systems to include all phases of project and systems management from initial capabilities documentation to system delivery and follow-on life cycle support. Provide technical analysis and program/project management support the acquisition of undersea systems, provide scope, guidance, and assessment of trade studies, technical assessments, produce/review/validate technical configuration documentation and assist in the document control process, schedule and support acquisition milestone events/reviews, and provide assessments and analysis for cost estimates and cost control actions. Coordinate and participate in program and technical status meetings/reviews, developing inputs, documenting proceedings, and tracking action items. Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree and nine 9) years of experience OR Master's degree and seven (7) years of experience. Must have experience providing technical and program management support for the acquisition or life-cycle support of a submarine Program Office. Must have a SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI CI poly. Desired
Experience with undersea systems, deep submergence systems, remotely operated or autonomous undersea systems. Experience with Navy acquisition, Navy shipbuilding, and Submarine/Undersea domain experience. Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
