What the Role Involves
Town & Country Credit Union is seeking an IT Security Analyst to lead efforts in securing our information systems and infrastructure. You'll work to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our digital assets-building defenses, identifying risks, and responding to security incidents. What You'll Do
Monitor our networks and systems for potential security threats or vulnerabilities
Investigate and document security incidents and breaches
Maintain security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, encryption protocols, and password management tools
Evaluate and enhance existing security systems and recommend improvements
Assist with development and review of procedures and incident response playbooks
Collaborate with departments to assess access needs and implement safeguards
Support secure configuration management, patch management, and system hardening processes
Research and stay current with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies
Document security incidents, audit logs, and risk assessments
Conduct user awareness training to strengthen organizational cybersecurity culture
Support audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans
Assist in developing and updating security policies and procedures

What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, MIS, or equivalent training
2-4 years experience in IT security (financial institution experience preferred)
Knowledge of security architecture, firewalls, data loss prevention, access controls
Experience with cloud security and best practices (Azure, Entra ID)
Proficient in tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanning tools and other cybersecurity technologies
Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001 and/or CIS).
Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills with attention detail
A proactive mindset with a passion for staying ahead of evolving threats
Certifications (one or more): Security+, A+, Network+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
