The HVAC & Refrigeration Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems throughout the hotel. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for both our guests and our team members. Responsibilities: • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and commercial refrigeration systems, including guestroom units, kitchen coolers/freezers, and building systems. • Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. • Respond quickly to guest and staff service calls to ensure comfort and satisfaction. • Assist the Chief Engineer with other building maintenance as needed. • Maintain accurate logs and reports of repairs, inspections, and system performance. • Follow all safety standards and hotel policies. Qualifications: • Previous HVAC and refrigeration experience required (hotel or commercial property experience preferred). • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Flexible schedule availability. • Professional, guest-focused attitude. Compensation: $27.50 - $30 hourly
