Fresh Air Camps | Hudson Valley, NY | June 5 to August 16, 2025 Role Overview

Fresh Air Camps is seeking experienced leaders to serve as Program Directors at our six summer camps in the Hudson Valley, NY. Program Directors manage day-to-day operations of specific camper programs, supervise a staff of 10–15, and organize activities. Reporting to the Camp Director, this position offers leadership opportunities to support the success of the camp program. This position requires living onsite at camp from June 5 to August 16, 2025; semi-private adult housing provided. Compensation for this role is $3,300 to $3,800 for the summer. Fresh Air Camps has multiple Program Director positions to support the variety of programs offered. Directors are expected to attend up to 20 hours of pre-camp training sessions (virtual or in-person). Role Variants

Teen Program Director

— Lead the Teen Leadership Program (ages 13–17) at Camp ABC, Camp Tommy, or Camp Junior. Oversees the Teen Leadership Program, schedules and coordinates all program events, and ensures curriculum delivery in collaboration with the Program Director. Director of Specialists

— Lead the program experience by managing specialists and camp schedules; supervise staff, coordinate schedules, and assist with administrative operations. Ensure high-quality experiential education throughout encampment. CIT Director

— Mentor the next generation of camp leaders by guiding 6–12 Counselors-in-Training; plan and deliver the summer CIT schedule, facilitate daily training, supervise camper development, communicate with parents, oversee evaluations, and liaise with the Summer Director and leadership team. Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old by the start of camp (June 27). 3+ years of college or equivalent preferred; college graduates strongly preferred. Experience as a counselor or staff member in a residential camp setting. Commitment to live onsite at camp for the entire summer season (June 5 to August 16, 2025). Prior supervisory experience required. All meals and semi-private adult housing provided during camp. Compensation for this role is $3,300 to $3,800 for the summer. How to Apply
