NorCal, Reno, UT, ID, MT, WY BBSI is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to lead growth for one of the nation's premier wood door and millwork manufacturers. With a reputation built on craftsmanship, innovation, and customer trust, our client supplies top-quality products to residential, commercial, and architectural markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales leader to take charge of a high-performing region, guide a team of outside sales representatives, and play a key role in driving revenue growth and market expansion. Position Overview As the Regional Sales Manager, you will spearhead sales strategy and execution across Region 1. You'll lead a team of outside sales representatives, strengthen client partnerships, and ensure growth across diverse markets. The right candidate will combine deep industry knowledge with strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and a relentless drive to exceed goals. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Planning Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed revenue and unit targets. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity. Forecast performance, set goals, and deliver results. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 6-7 outside sales representatives. Establish performance targets and conduct regular reviews. Build a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture. Customer Relationship Management Build and nurture relationships with distributors, architects, specifiers, and designers. Manage national accounts and expand market presence. Ensure client satisfaction while handling inquiries and concerns. Product & Market Knowledge Maintain expert knowledge of wood door and millwork products, specs, and codes. Educate clients and team members on applications and benefits. Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities. Operational Coordination Partner with marketing, operations, and product development teams. Support logistics and purchasing for accurate, on-time deliveries. Attend and represent the company at trade shows and industry events. Deliver clear and detailed sales forecasts to executive leadership. Qualifications 10+ years proven success in sales management within wood doors, millwork, or related industries. Strong knowledge of residential and commercial door markets, specs, and installations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Data-driven with proven ability to analyze trends and execute strategy. Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). Willingness to travel 50%+ across the assigned region.
