Maintenance Mechanic – CNC Equipment Milwaukee, WI Pay: DOE Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join a leading fabrication and manufacturing operation. This role will focus on maintaining and repairing advanced CNC equipment, including CNC saws, routers, and water jets, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with Loffler machines. Experience with similar CNC manufacturers such as Breton, Park Industries, CMS Brembana, Intermac, Thibaut, or GMM is also highly valued. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting complex machinery to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly. Daily Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC machines, CNC saws, routers, and CNC water jets. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on production equipment. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair history. Collaborate with machine operators and supervisors to identify issues and schedule necessary repairs. Ensure all equipment is running efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime. Follow all company policies, OSHA standards, and safety guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or CNC equipment maintenance. Hands-on experience with Loffler machines strongly preferred. Familiarity with similar manufacturers such as Breton, Park Industries, CMS Brembana, Intermac, Thibaut, or GMM. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing CNC systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training a plus. Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently on day shift with minimal supervision. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
