Executive Director Responsibilities

Act as the intermediary between the board of directors and the president; establish the board agenda and work with project leaders as needed (may research projects run by other team members). If desired, establish your own project within the Urban Wildlife Research Project. Preside at board meetings (board meets once every other month); notify the team of upcoming meetings and collect items for the agenda. Perform duties as prescribed by the board of directors or the president; in the absence or disability of the president, perform the duties of the president. Time Commitment

See below. Availability: 5-7 hours per month to plan, draft, and implement materials related to the role. About You (Qualifications)

Passionate about ecology and wildlife conservation; solid understanding of ecological principles and commitment to wildlife protection. Proactive and independent; self-starters who can move projects forward autonomously. Excellent communicator; ability to convey messages compellingly and clearly in fundraising letters or social media posts. Remote Work Ready; board meetings are held via Zoom; location is not a barrier (volunteers can be international). Availability to dedicate 5-7 hours per month. Why Volunteer with Us
