The Attractions Operational Technology (AOT) Cybersecurity team provides services and solutions to secure and enhance the reliability of the computer and control networks on which the rides and shows run in our theme parks. This is done through risk evaluation, collaboration, standardization, enforcement, and education across the business segment. Our team has efforts engaged in both the new themed attractions as well as our legacy attractions. Our processes are divided amongst design and architecture, monitoring and logging, and vulnerability management. The AOT Cybersecurity Engineer takes a strategic approach to protection of our control networks in attractions, live shows, and transportation venues. The primary tasks of this position will be to align Cybersecurity network security solutions with Disneyland's existing and incoming attraction systems. What Youll Do
Work with in a larger Operational Technology Cybersecurity team at the Disneyland Resort to: Manage and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure in various on-prem locations Design, implement, and build upon automation scripts and workflows tailored to OT environments Develop dashboards that enhance visibility into infrastructure health, enabling informed decision-making Build meaningful detections/alerts based on business needs Develop and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or PowerShell DSC to ensure consistency and repeatability Maintain and secure Linux and Windows-based systems, ensuring compliance with OT cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443) Assist with day-to-day infrastructure and security operations as required Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including OT engineers, IT professionals, and other cybersecurity experts Take on secondary and tertiary responsibilities as required
Required Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in a technology organization Direct experience working with popular tools for virtualization and infrastructure management ecosystems Familiarity with hyper-converged infrastructure platforms Strong troubleshooting ability regardless of the topic Ability to collaborate with local and global cybersecurity teams Flexible and adaptable to new challenges Ability to work individually with minimal supervision and as part of a team Able to work non-traditional hours (occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays), in non-traditional settings. This can include backstage areas that could involve dark spaces, elevated walkways, and industrial environments
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Entertainment venues or attractions/theme park industry experience Industrial automation/manufacturing controls Managing Data Center or On-Prem ecosystems
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education
One or more general security certifications including Security+, GSEC, GICSP, CEH, OSCP, or other relevant certifications
The hiring range for this position in California is $126,100.00-$154,100.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
