Develop and execute comprehensive media relations strategies to promote the Dallas Bulls’ brand and enhance public image. Serve as the primary spokesperson and media contact for the team. Manage press conferences, media interviews, and press releases. Coordinate with coaches, players, and executives to facilitate timely and accurate media access and messaging. Build and maintain relationships with journalists, broadcasters, and digital media platforms. Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports on public perception and media trends. Oversee crisis communication plans and respond effectively to sensitive issues. Collaborate closely with marketing, social media, and content teams to ensure consistent messaging across platforms. Supervise and mentor media relations staff. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field. 7+ years of experience in media relations, preferably within professional sports or entertainment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage high-pressure media situations and crisis communications. Strong relationships with local and national sports media a plus. Proficiency with media monitoring and PR software. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
