Overview The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accounts payable processing and assisting with other administrative tasks.

Schedule

Location: McGrath Family YMCA

This position will oversee multiple branches generally in the East County area. Occational travel will be required between locations.

Responsibilities

Input assigned accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently

Review and pay accounts payable invoices by the due date

Communicate with vendors regarding invoicing, payments, and account reconciliations

Receive and distribute daily mail

Deposit incoming checks daily and route deposit slip along with other documentation to the appropriate team member

Process employee petty cash and expense reports

Generate monthly reconciliations for cash advances, petty cash and accounts payable

Assist with independent contractor paperwork

Assist with routing and maintaining contracts with customers, vendors, and other partners

Ability to use Microsoft Office applications with advanced proficiency in Excel and previous exposure to accounting software.

Proficient in Adobe PDF

Experience with NetSuite preferred

Proficient in data entry and management involving large volumes of data

Demonstrated ability to identify issues, investigate solutions and resolve problems

Commitment to providing outstanding customer service

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Detail oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Highschool GED or equivalent experience required

2+ years’ experience in a related field and/or position related college course work

Licensing, state law and our government funders require that staff within YMCA of San Diego County be fingerprinted, prior to reporting to work, and includesubsequentarrest notifications

CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within30 daysofhireand must be from one of the following certifying organizations:

American Red Cross

American Heart Association

American Safety & Health Institute

Pay Range USD $26.04 - USD $31.24 /Hr.
