Base pay range
$54,000.00/yr - $62,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Media/Influencer Relations: develop and execute proactive media engagement and storylines; maintain strong relationships with regular media and influencer targets; secure coverage aligned with team goals.
Client Service/Management: facilitate media briefings across client accounts, provide feedback to clients, support and own portions of client PR calls, and counsel on media opportunities and coverage.
Account Planning: present quarterly/yearly account progress as needed; own key elements of the PR program (analysts, influencers, speaking, content, etc.) and serve as a go-to resource for client contacts.
Writing Proficiencies: generate press releases and other content with minimal edits; prepare and edit award submissions, press materials, backgrounders, bios, briefing books, contributed articles, pitches, Q&As, and related documents.
Agency Operations: mentor junior staff, assist in setting goals and conducting reviews; participate in new business activities, identify targets, and contribute to pitches; attend networking events.
Self Development: set quarterly goals with supervision, prioritize responsibilities by impact and timelines, drive projects independently, and seek opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
2-3 years of PR experience, either in an agency or a startup environment; strong relationships with key media and influencers.
Exceptional writing ability and understanding of social media dynamics.
Ability to develop creative, effective pitches and manage client communications professionally and timely.
Willingness to mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
