Mission Critical is an international practice involving collaboration across multiple departments. Responsibilities
Design mechanical systems/equipment to provide a useful and safe workplace.
Advise clients regarding mechanical systems/requirements to meet needs and comply with safety codes.
Monitor installation of designed equipment/systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety codes.
Participate in developing design criteria for air- and water-side building mechanical systems.
Review mechanical designs and specifications of equipment or systems being purchased or fabricated.
Develop concept studies and design.
Opportunity to develop Project Management skills.
Assist Project Managers with day-to-day management of project execution, deliverables, quality, schedule, contracts, subcontracts, proposals, and client interface.
Facilitate and execute contract administration for RFIs, submittals, change management, and claim mitigation.
Assist in project reporting status, risks, schedule, and cost.
Enforce standards and practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program and 7 years mechanical engineering experience. EPC project experience preferred.
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam with 7 years mechanical engineering experience. EPC project experience preferred.
Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6 years mechanical engineering experience. EPC project experience preferred.
Expert knowledge of standard engineering techniques and procedures. Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment design codes (ASME, ANSI, API, PIP, NACE). Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience leading discipline design for large projects and delegating work tasks to team members. Ability to lead execution of work and resolve issues in a team environment.
Demonstrated critical thinking, methodical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications.
Ability to travel.
Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
Compensation
$140,000.00-210,000.00 Yearly The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with local/state regulations. The range is based on factors including education, qualifications, prior experience, and work location. The total annual compensation package includes a base salary and eligibility to participate in a discretionary year-end incentive bonus program. Benefits
