Job Summary
The Senior Sales Executive for Group Accounts will be the key driver of sales for a complex property. This role focuses on proactively seeking out and managing opportunities with substantial revenue potential. You'll play a vital role in building and nurturing long-term, value-based relationships with customers to meet both personal and team revenue targets. This position offers the flexibility to target all account types or specialize in specific segments such as Corporate or Association.
Key Responsibilities
Market Understanding & Revenue Maximization:
Gain insights into market dynamics, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and economic trends to effectively increase property revenue by targeting group accounts. Catering Sales Planning:
Create and execute strategic sales plans, focusing on soliciting specific accounts and developing creative catered events to achieve sales goals. Relationship Building:
Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, including Strategic Accounts and Convention Bureaus, to drive revenue, enhance customer satisfaction, and expand market share. Operational Support:
Ensure smooth business transitions from sales to service delivery, maintaining adherence to brand standards. Customer Engagement:
Utilize various sales resources, conduct site inspections, and create contracts as required to foster strong customer relationships. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk operations, or related fields. Alternatively, possess a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with 4 years of experience. For this role, you will earn an hourly pay between $45.19 to $61.54, alongside a bonus program and a comprehensive benefits package, including health care benefits, a 401(k) plan with a company match, employee stock purchase options, paid time off, and more.
