About the Role
The company is on the lookout for a dynamic Executive Vice President for Client Services within the biotech sector. This key role is vital in driving our mission to connect people to their best health. The successful candidate will lead strategic vision, operational excellence, and foster business growth across a diverse portfolio of biotech clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite clients, orchestrate high-performing cross-functional teams, and develop integrated communications strategies that highlight scientific storytelling, regulatory milestones, and stakeholder engagement throughout the product lifecycle. The EVP will oversee a significant business portfolio, ensure profitability, and constantly seek new opportunities within and beyond the biotech industry.
To thrive in this role, applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in communications, life sciences, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 20 years of experience in healthcare communications, particularly in biotech and life sciences. You must demonstrate a proven track record in managing and expanding a substantial business portfolio, possess in-depth knowledge of the biotech landscape, and exhibit exceptional leadership and client service skills. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing large, matrixed teams and will embody a solutions-oriented attitude with a strong emphasis on fostering collaboration and innovation. A commitment to strategic scaling, diversity, equity, and inclusion, along with the ability to champion our company values, is essential. The EVP will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of both the biotech practice and the agency at large, as well as leading or supporting various agency-wide initiatives.
