JOB SUMMARY: As a Lead CT Technologist, your empathic approach, technical expertise, and commitment to exceptional quality significantly contribute to effective CT imaging for diagnostic purposes. This advanced role encompasses added responsibilities as directed by the modality supervisor or department manager. You will perform Computed Tomography (CT) imaging and aid radiologists in executing CT Interventional procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging while maximizing patient comfort and safety. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct CT scans and assist in Interventional CT guided procedures. Participate in departmental meetings and in-service training sessions. Maintain accountability for prompt and accurate service to patients during unsupervised shifts. Train staff during orientation and on new procedures. Perform assigned quality assurance duties. Carry out PACS reconciliations as needed. Deliver outstanding customer service. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent. NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or a NYS permit, obtaining full licensure within six months of employment). American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment. NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment effective from 7/16/2018. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Three years of CT Technologist and/or Radiologic experience preferred (combined experience accepted). ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-R-CT). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with various software applications. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting. PAY RANGE: $35.00 - $46.50 CITY AND POSTAL CODE: Clifton Springs, 14432 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and will be eligible for additional pay components.
