The role focuses on handling complex commercial litigation matters across federal and state courts, as well as arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in high-level litigation strategy and client advocacy, with expectations of precision, strong analytical thinking, and exceptional writing skills. Location: Washington, D.C. Duties: Represent clients in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts Participate in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals Handle matters before arbitration panels and in alternative dispute resolution forums Draft legal documents including motions, briefs, and memoranda Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies Collaborate with partners and litigation teams to manage case progress and client relationships Requirements: 3–5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation Background in both federal and state court proceedings, as well as ADR mechanisms Proven ability to manage assignments independently and meet deadlines Strong professional judgment and attention to detail Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications: Admission to practice law in the District of Columbia, or eligibility to waive in Skills: Excellent legal writing and communication skills Advanced research and analytical capabilities Strong organizational and case management skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to high-quality legal work and client service Competitive compensation (commensurate with experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) or similar retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Professional development and mentorship opportunities Supportive, inclusive workplace culture Company info BCG Attorney Search 1629 K ST NW, Suite 300 Washington District of Columbia United States 20006 Phone :
