About the Role
The Company is seeking a dynamic Director of Early Commercial Strategy and Business Development to lead the transition to commercial readiness for its rare disease pipeline. This pivotal position lies at the confluence of commercial strategy, market planning, and partnership development, aimed at facilitating the launch of groundbreaking therapies. The successful candidate will have the critical responsibility of crafting and executing effective commercial launch strategies and comprehensive launch plans. Utilizing market assessments and competitive analyses, you will steer decision-making processes. Furthermore, this role necessitates the identification and execution of strategic partnership opportunities, leading the formulation of deal terms that align with the company’s mission and objectives.
Qualifications:
A Ph.D., MD, and/or MBA, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, or business.
At least 15 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries, particularly in rare diseases, oncology, or immunology and inflammation.
A proven track record in early commercial strategy, launch planning, and operational implementation.
Experience in developing commercial organizations and leading business development activities.
Strong strategic planning, analytical skills, and outstanding communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
A deep understanding of the biotechnology landscape, with insights into rare disease market dynamics and competitive intelligence.
