Participation in drug screenings and orientation is mandatory at 2115 S 3600 W, West Valley City, UT, 84119. Orientation typically occurs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with a single session at 11:00 AM each day. Please arrive on time, as late arrivals (more than 5 minutes) may not be accommodated. Upon successful completion of orientation, you'll be placed in the job at Maersk and qualify for upcoming 1-Day Projects, as well as opportunities for future work. You will receive 1.5 hours of pay for orientation, provided you complete a full shift at Maersk - West Valley. Your responsibilities will include picking orders using a cart and tablet, packing and shipping those orders at designated tables with the aid of a PC and RF scanner, as well as hand-labeling packages according to specific instructions. Requirements: Ability to stand for 8-9 hours. Capability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds. Breaks:
Enjoy two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Refrigerators and vending machines are available on-site. Please note, there are no lockers, so personal belongings should be left at home. General Expectations:
In a warehouse environment through Bluecrew, you may be required to: Work independently or collaboratively to pick, pack, and ship products. Safely relocate or repackage inventory items as instructed, weighing up to 50 pounds. Operate equipment and machinery safely once trained. Engage in physical activities like reaching, bending, and crouching as needed. Maintain a fast-paced work rhythm throughout the shift. Be comfortable in a dynamic environment with forklifts and heavy machinery. Adhere to a dress code, which includes wearing close-toed shoes and pants when not specified.
