The Leidos National Security Sector (NSS) is seeking a skilled Lead Pricing Analyst to enhance our team of committed pricing experts. This position requires onsite support for classified proposals located in Reston, VA, and Chantilly, VA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the cost volume development process, including narrative composition, creation of cost exhibits, and preparation of financial documentation, ensuring compliance with all internal, federal, and solicitation requirements.
Lead proposal cost volume teams in collaboration with functional areas such as contracts, subcontracts & procurement, capture management, finance, and technical estimators to produce a thoroughly compliant, compelling, and competitive cost proposal.
Engage in proposal development and compliance meetings, including pricing strategy discussions, price-to-win and risk reviews, bid/no-bid decisions, and various compliance assessments.
Construct detailed pricing models for analysis and final customer deliverables, utilizing advanced Excel skills.
Compile pricing files in alignment with company policies and RFP guidelines, and participate in cost and pricing peer reviews of proposals and supporting pricing materials.
Mentor and coach junior pricing professionals, fostering their development and skill enhancement.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience in cost volume development, government contracting, and pricing analysis. Additional relevant experience may offset the requirement for a degree.
Demonstrated experience in all aspects of government proposal development, pricing strategy, and an understanding of various contract types (Cost-Plus, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, GSA Schedules, etc.).
Strong grasp of FAR/DFAR, CAS, DCMA/DCAA, along with government finance principles and basic estimating methodologies.
Ability to contribute to pricing and narrative development throughout the proposal's lifecycle, from pre-solicitation strategies to post-award analysis, with a willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with expertise in pricing tools and templates.
Advanced Excel skills, particularly in building pricing models using lookups and pivot tables, with the capability to manage large and complex data sets.
Customer-focused approach with a professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly desirable.
Possession of an advanced degree or certification (MBA, NCMA, ICEAA, etc.) is a plus.
Experience with Deltek ProPricer is greatly preferred.
Familiarity with commercial business models.
Experience in handling international proposals.
