This role is responsible for receiving vendor shipments, organizing inventory, managing cycle counts, and coordinating outbound shipments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who thrives in a clean, high-accuracy warehouse environment with a large number of SKUs. This position does not manage staff but requires a proactive, accountable approach to independent warehouse operations.

Pay rate $20.00 - $25.00/hr DOE
work Hours - Monday - Thursday 6 am - 4:30 p.m.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Receive and inspect incoming vendor shipments; ensure accurate documentation and placement
Coordinate and prepare outbound shipments
Perform and maintain regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Maintain inventory control standards, including tracking SKU movements and turns
Load and unload trucks using a forklift
Ensure proper rotation, labeling, and organization of all stock
Setup truck shipments and work with carriers when necessary
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment
Use inventory management tools to track and reconcile stock
Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies
Ensure all warehouse processes meet quality and compliance standards
Actively pursues cost saving opportunities
Maintain strong working relationship with multiple carriers and vendors
Must maintain the optimal holding capacity of the distribution center at all times
Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA work standards and practices
Complete projects in a timely manner on short notice
Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and functional distribution center
Regular, reliable attendance required
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
Strong inventory management and organizational skills
Experience using a forklift and or pallet jack
Experience handling a high volume of SKUs with precision
Proficiency in Excel or inventory management systems
Able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, stand, and work in warehouse conditions
Self-starter with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams
Familiarity with logistics or shipping coordination
Prior experience in a distribution center model supporting regional teams
Knowledge of basic freight and shipment scheduling
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of distribution experience required
General computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word)
Experience using a forklift and or pallet jack
