Rochester, NY . The dining program is a comprehensive operation including residential dining, retail food platforms, high-end catering, and summer conference business. As the

General Manager , you will lead a diverse dining services team focused on delivering exceptional student and guest experiences. You will oversee all aspects of campus dining operations while fostering innovation, inclusivity, and operational excellence. What You\'ll Do

Lead and develop a team to deliver high-quality, innovative, and inclusive dining programs. Manage day-to-day food service operations across residential dining, retail outlets, and catering. Drive student experience, food quality, customer service, and event excellence—including board dinners, faculty events, weddings, receptions, and summer camps. Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with both Sodexo and college standards. Monitor budgets, labor productivity, and key performance indicators to meet financial and operational goals. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace standards. Champion a positive, inclusive, and team-focused work environment. What We Offer

What You Bring

Proven leadership and supervisory experience with a history of developing successful teams. Culinary production knowledge and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Experience with high-volume food service operations, preferably in a college or university setting. Working knowledge of

Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS)

and

Market Connections (MSC)
